Repair and Deduct Project In the Fall of 2001, a group of Bay Area agencies and individuals came together to create the Repair & Deduct Project.
We have provided information for renters on their rights regarding home repairs, and how renters may go about getting those repairs taken care of. Our Repair and Deduct Self-Help Informational Packet outlines rights to repairs, practical steps to getting repairs done, sample letters to managers, and legal resources for renters with unresponsive landlords to turn to.
