Housing Rights, Inc. was founded in 1979 by a law student who could not find housing because she had young children. We are committed to seeing that that does not happened to others. Join us in fighting to uphold the ‘housing rights’ of everyone.

There are a number of ways that you can particpate:

  • Educate yourself.
  • Understand your housing rights and responsibilities.
  • Stand up for yourself and others. When one person is injured so are we all.
  • Think before your speak or act. Your casual remark may represent to others a lifetime of isolation and disrespect.
  • Ask questions. Much better that you ask than assume.
  • Be kind. It all starts there.
